Latest work







Periodically I will post a painting (or 12). I'm not looking for praise (although it is always appreciated!), but any constructive criticism is totally welcome.
So here are 3 relatively new pieces. They are 5"x5" encaustics. I am exploring the contrast of textures (smooth/coarse) and the play between hot wax and cold metal with these 3.

    I really like the yellow one! I like them all, but the yellow is my favorite. It is similar to some of your painting that I really like, so maybe that's why I'm drawn to it. Very cool!

    I like the metal bits and the bright colors. The yellow one is my favorite. I was just wondering how a largish one, say about 6"x8" would look with a 4"x6" photo in the center. Or not in the center. Hmmm.
