Some new work.
Well, the girls are from before Christmas. They still need a name. It's encaustic/collage. I feel like it's cheating in a way because it's one of my drawings that I printed on tissue to make it sheer, then encased it in clear encaustic along with a rusted safety pin.
The red one is called "Box Car". Encaustic/assemblage. The detail shot is on it's side. Oooops.

ReplyDeleteTHE GIRLS ARE LOVELY, A REFECTION, A TWIN? A LOOK IN THE MIRROR, HELD TOGETHER AS WE ALL ARE BY A FRAGILE CLASP, BUT TRANSPARENT AND HOPEFUL. I OBVIOUSLY LIKE THE SYMBOLISM I SEE. THANKS FOR SHARING IT.
